Density Polyethylene (LDPE)
It is a kind of plastic that is common in many ordinary products such as extrusion bottles, bread wrapping paper, frozen food packaging, dry cleaning bags, shopping bags, handbags, clothing bags, furniture, carpets, etc.
You can take your bags out and recycle them or throw them away, but you can also recycle them for your own craft project.
This is achieved by melting low density polyethylene.
It is not difficult to melt low density polyethylene grade plastic;
An ordinary iron can do the task easily.
Calculate the number of bags required to create the required thickness and area to complete the project.
A bag folded into a dormitory provides 4 layers of thickness, which is sufficient for many uses, but does not provide a large area of work space.
The extra layers make the finished product harder, but the bonding time will be longer.
Heat the iron to medium temperature.
Press a bag along the established folds, cut off any handle with scissors and fold it into a square shape.
Cut the seam at the bottom, make the tube and open any folds.
Turn out the bag inside and level it into a two-Layer rectangle.
For example, a typical plastic shopping bag from Wal-Mart will produce 18-inch by 14-inch, two-Layer rectangle.
If you fold it in half so that one end of the opening is at the top and bottom of your bag, you will have a 9-inch by 14-inch rectangle.
Repeat step 3 with an extra bag, combine or fold the bag (s)

Let the plastic cool for five to ten seconds before stripping the craft paper.
Check if the plastic sheet has any place where the layers are not fully combined.
Repeat the ironing and cooling process to eliminate these spots.
Repeat steps three to seven until you have enough raw material to create your project.
